The Margaret M. Allemang Society for the History of Nursing

is pleased to announce the following illustrated talk

Polio and Religion in 1950s Canada

by Ginny Bodsworth

Time: 3 pm (following the AGM at 2 pm)

Place: University Women’s Club, 162 St. George St. Toronto (corner of St. George and Huron close to the St. George subway.  Limited parking rear of building)

Ginny Bodsworth is a historian, teacher, and artist.  She recently obtained her Master’s degree in History from York University (working with Kathryn McPherson). The focus of her Master’s degree was the affect of religion on people’s attitudes and responses to polio in 1950s Canada.

All are welcome to this free lecture.     Refreshments provided.
